Nie Mingjue (聂明玦, Niè Míngjué) was a former leader of the Qinghe Nie Clan, titled Chifeng-Zun.
Nie Mingjue is well known for his strictness and violent temper. His temper only worsens over the years, as the saber spirit of his clan's cultivation methods begins to affect him. Nie Mingjue shows no interest in women, art, alcohol, or anything outside of his saber work and killing members of the Qishan Wen Clan, who had killed his father when Nie Mingjue was a teen.Although Nie Mingjue rarely opens up to others, he is fiercly protective towards those he cares about.He possesses an extremely black-and-white sense of morality, and is rather intolerant of anything he deems to deviate from the moral good.However, this morality also gives Nie Mingjue a strong sense of fairness and justice, as he respects those who disagree with him if they demonstrate integrity.Death: Nie Mingjue qi deviates, thanks to the questionable cultivation methods employed by the Nie sect. That and Jin Guangyao exacerbated the condition with playing a bastardized version of the purification tone,After death, Nie mingjue is dismembered by Jin Guangyao and his pieces scattered to hide the evidence of his crimes.
